Clarification Text Pursuant to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK)
This Clarification Text has been prepared in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) and relevant legislation to fulfill the obligation of informing individuals who contact us through the WhatsApp application on the website https://www.msadentalclinic.com/. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
As the data controller, Dr. Mustafa Sercan Akat, located at İçerenköy Mahallesi, Küçükbakkalköy Yolu Caddesi, Coşkun Apartmanı No:56-68 A, 34752, Ataşehir, İSTANBUL, collects personal data from individuals who contact us through the WhatsApp application on our website. The collected personal data is processed in line with the purposes specified in this clarification text.
PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Processing is defined in Article 3 of KVKK as the actions of recording, storing, preserving, changing, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, receiving, making available, and classifying personal data. C. Purposes for Which Personal Data May Be Transferred and to Whom
Our clinic processes your personal data in accordance with the principles of “necessity to know” and “necessity to use,” ensuring data minimization and taking necessary technical and administrative security measures. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes outlined in Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Since communication is established via WhatsApp, individuals transfer their personal data with their explicit consent.

D. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, everyone has the right to apply to us, as the data controller, regarding the following matters:
(1) Everyone has the right to inquire whether their personal data is processed and to request the following:
a) Learn whether personal data is processed,
b) Request information if their personal data is processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
ç) Learn about third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, either domestically or abroad,
d) Request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
e) Request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of Law No. 6698,
f) Request notification of corrections, deletions, or destructions of personal data to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
g) Object to a result that arises against the data subject by exclusively analyzing personal data through automated systems,
ğ) Request compensation for damages in case of harm due to unlawful processing of personal data.
Applications regarding your aforementioned rights can be made by:
•Filling out the Application Form located at https://www.msadentalclinic.com/ilgili-kisi-basvuru-usulu/ in accordance with the procedure and submitting it to our clinic in writing.
•Sending the application via the email address registered in our systems, along with documents verifying your identity, to the email address info@msadentalclinic.com, or
•Submitting it through any other methods determined by the Authority.
Your applications will be concluded within the shortest time possible, and no later than thirty days, free of charge. However, if the process incurs additional costs, a fee may be charged based on the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
